The inspiration for the shop came after a backpacking trip around the southern hemisphere. The lifestyle & attitude of the Aussie's and kiwi's really left an impression on me. They make leisure a way of life; rather than living to work they work to live, because of this they seem much more chilled out folk.
The shop was named after a small surfing haven on the east coast near Brisbane. This was where I first learned to surf, an awesome experience for me riding my first wave. This memory has lived with me and what better name for the shop than this.

Since we began the shop has been so well supported by people local and afar, the feedback I have received has been very encouraging and positive. Even our bags have become a collector's item!!!
What next? - Well we hope to continue being as successful as we are now. We welcome any ideas for the store and hope to develop Teatree Bay into a well-known lifestyle store - watch this space...
